10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Make-It Springfield | 168 Worthington St. | Springfield MA 01103
Free Public Event for makers and lovers of handcrafted books, zines, and self-published writing.
Join us to see Make-It Springfield transformed into an eclectic bookstore with a welcoming lounge area where you can meet the authors of the books on display.
Morning session will offer workshops for makers from 10 – noon. Presenters are Crystal Senter-Brown and Kane Lynch. (For more info, click here.)
Afternoon will offer an opportunity for makers to show off and sell their books, zines, and related items. Visitors will also find a selection of used books available for sale, with proceeds to go to Make-It Springfield.
As an added attraction, several local poets and writers will step up to the mic and present their work.
If you plan to exhibit, please sign up early since space is limited.
If you would like to volunteer to help with planning, please use Sign-Up Genius to do so. We especially need people to help with set up and creation of the book display areas.
Looking for an easy way to help? Download a copy of our poster and put it up. Or send it to your friends. Or print a lot of copies and paper the town. Thanks.
This event is made possible in part by a grant from Springfield Cultural Council.
